I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work. Currently under supervision to provide clinical therapy, I bring nearly 10 years of experience in Macro Social Work to the table. My expertise lies in nonprofit program management, grant administration, and communication and social media strategy.
I advocate for positive policy changes and foster meaningful relationships with stakeholders. With experience serving as a public servant providing community engagement to the City of Fort Worth, particularly in Hispanic outreach, I've honed my skills in building bridges and facilitating dialogue across diverse communities.
Moreover, I've led initiatives with a nonprofit focused on women's political leadership, demonstrating my commitment to advancing gender equity and amplifying the voices of underrepresented groups. Previously, I served as a Regional Director at United Way of Tarrant County, where I brought a resourceful approach to program management and nurtured relationships with stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes.
My goal is to leverage this clinical experience to inform and enhance program management for organizations offering mental health services to these communities.
As a Latina and native Spanish speaker, I'm deeply committed to advancing equity and financial stability through active civic engagement. Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in participating in diverse leadership forums and volunteering. Having earned both my master's and bachelor's degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington, I'm deeply rooted in the community. Originally from Fort Worth, I've embraced the DFW area wholeheartedly, contributing my volunteer efforts to both Dallas and Tarrant County.
